Peter James said: “The PJI and Kelsey teams have got a whopper of a stand in store for show-goers this year – it’s the place to come to pick up your free show guide, get hold of some fantastic merchandise and exclusive magazine offers, chat to our team and admire an array of rare and modern classics!”
Cars on display include:
Win a Mini – an immaculate and rare 1989 Mini Mayfair. Visitors can grab their chance to win a slice of classic Mini ownership ahead of the car’s 60th anniversary next year. Entry costs just £3!
Ford Mondeo – this early Mk1 GLX model is a rare example of the car that replaced the ageing Sierra, and marks the car’s 25th anniversary. This particular example is embarking on an intrepid road trip through Europe in July, and fans will get the chance to win the car at FordFest later in the year!
Triumph 2500TC estate – another rare classic. This rare practical wagon has featured extensively in Classics Monthly magazine. The estate model is seldom seen on the roads these days, especially in 2500 guise.
Subaru Impreza – how’s this for a fabulous modern classic: these iconic flat four turbocharged cars became overnight stars of the rally scene, with UK legend Colin Mcrae behind the wheel of the Prodrive editions. This 1999 standard turbo model is an increasingly desirable future classic and has featured in Retro Japanese magazine amongst others.
